Easiest Way to Make Free Ringtones for Your iPhone on a PC



iPhone with a chrome ring as a shopping spree without cash .... Pretty pointless if you're asking me! Most iPhone users are aware that they can change the music in your iTunes library in a single ring and have them transferred to your iPhone 4, 3/3GS iPhone, all iPod devices, and even their iPad. Get rid of the dull blues, crickets and bell tower that everyone seems to be and impress your friends with the sounds they had never heard of the following steps:

Making Ringtone File

1 You will need to "Get Info" for each song you want to use for a ringtone in your iTunes library. Do this by right clicking on the song of your choice. Select "Get Info" command in the drop-down menu that appears.

2.Pop-up will open. Select "Options" tab, next to the menu at the top of the pop-up box.

3 Typical bell can not be longer than 30 seconds, and select about 15 other part of the song you want to hear as a ringtone. For example, if you like to start your song will probably want to set "Start Time" at 0:05 and "Stop Time" at 0:20. Part of the song you choose is entirely up to you! Click "OK" when you are finished.

4 Click on "Advanced" tab in your iTunes panel, then select "Create AAC Version" from the dropdown menu.

5 If you look in your iTunes library you will see that there are two different versions of the song that was chosen. You'll need to change the "Get Info" the original song back to the way it so it will play normally in the future.

Converting files to ringtones computer

1 Find AAC version of the song, you've just created on your computer. This is usually done by opening the following folder sequence: My Documents, My Music, iTunes, iTunes media and then music. Once in the Music folder, you should find the AAC version of a particular artist folder.

2.Ispravnog a.m4a file will have the file extension. The file extension should be changed to a.m4r file extension. Do this by clicking on the file and copying the correct file extension.

3 Click the "Add to Library" command under "File" menu to import a new convert the file back into your iTunes library.

File Transfer Ringtone to iPhone

1 Select "Ringtones" category in the iTunes navigation menu (located in the left column of the iTunes panel). You will see a file you just created listed in the library.

2 Sync your iPhone with iTunes account. Be sure that you select to sync "tone" category in your iTunes preferences before doing this. This whole process will not work if the "tone" is not selected to sync with your iPhone.
